This website is run by Guinea Travel and Services, a tour operator based in Commune de Matam, Conakry, Guinea. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Guinea Travel and Services. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it and how we look after it.

Information we collect

When you send a trip request through our contact form, we collect the details you choose to give us:

• your name and email address
• your WhatsApp number and the country you are travelling from (optional)
• your travel dates, number of days and number of travellers
• the services and destinations you are interested in, and your message

If you contact us on WhatsApp, by phone or by email, we receive your name, number or email address and anything you write to us.

Like most websites, our hosting provider may also record basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, to keep the website secure and working properly.

How we use your information

• to reply to your enquiry and plan your trip
• to arrange the services you ask for, such as tours, transport, hotel bookings, tickets or visa support
• to keep in touch with you about your booking
• to keep our website secure and improve it

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing messages unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

We only share your information when it is needed to provide our services, for example with hotels, drivers, guides or partner operators in Sierra Leone, Liberia or Guinea-Bissau that are part of your trip, or with the authorities when you ask for help with a visa.

Our website also uses a few trusted outside services:

• Formspree, which delivers contact form messages to our email inbox
• WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to contact us there
• Google Maps and Google Fonts, which show the map and text styles on our pages
• our web hosting provider, which stores the website

These services may process information outside Guinea. Each has its own privacy policy.

Cookies

Our website uses only a small number of cookies needed for it to work. Embedded services such as Google Maps may set their own cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.

How long we keep it

We keep your enquiry and booking details only for as long as we need them to plan and deliver your trip and to meet any legal or accounting requirements. After that, we delete them.

You can ask us at any time to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Just contact us using the details below and we will respond as soon as we can.
